Matterport offers a fully managed solution for national and international customers across the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Africa & Asia Pacific, who require on demand scheduling for experienced and reliable Matterport professionals to scan their properties.
For more information on this program, you can view the webinar we held in April, 2020.
Matterport Capture Services is a fully dispatched, managed program where executable jobs are sent directly to Matterport Capture Technicians™ who have been vetted and onboarded to the program.

Please complete the form below to register your interest in joining Matterport Capture Services. At the moment, we are onboarding new and additional Capture Technicians and partners only when our demand requires. If we already have plentiful coverage in your area/region, you may not hear from us until this changes but know that we have your information and will be in touch when we see the demand in your region/s increase.
We are currently only accepting applications from professionals who have scanned a minimum of 20 properties and own at least one Matterport Pro2 camera. The Matterport Pro 1 and other 360 cameras do not include the 4K quality sensor that generates the imagery enterprise clients need and will not be accepted.
We onboard Capture Technicians within 35 miles (50 kilometers) of large city centers determined by enterprise demand. Our goal is to broaden base-level coverage to serve these accounts and then build depth as demand increases in that market. As a result, we may not be able to accept everyone into the program right away, but our goal is to create increasing demand to allow anyone who would like the opportunity to join the network.
What can I expect by joining the Capture Service Network?
Matterport has signed deals with large customers who need seamless access to scheduling hundreds or thousands of scans across the nation at a standardized price. It's our belief that the new Capture Services program will bring you more ROI.
If I join the program, how many jobs can I expect to receive?
Capture Technicians are onboarded within 35 miles of large city centers determined by enterprise demand. Our goal is to broaden coverage to serve these accounts and then build depth as demand increases in that market. Again, these enterprise opportunities are meant to be incremental revenue to your existing business, not to replace it.
Based on current demand, which cities will be served first in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific?
Currently, we have customers signed up in over 140 cities across the United States and Canada and 250 cities across Europe, Middle East & Africa, along with over 100 cities across Asia Pacific.
Can you tell us about the companies interested in Matterport Capture Services?
While large residential real estate companies are working with us, our biggest projects are coming from commercial real estate giants - which translates into new and larger jobs for you. These companies include Compass, Cushman & Wakefield, and Colliers International among many others.
What happens to the current MSP program?
We will continue to vet and forward leads coming into our “Find a 3D Pro” form as they are today.
Will I be compensated if I refer a client?
We are in the process of finalizing our referral program and will share more details when available.
What camera is required to become a Matterport Capture Technician?
A Matterport Pro 2 camera is required to scan the property. The Matterport Pro 1 does not include the 4K quality sensor that generates the imagery enterprise clients need.
Ultimately, who owns the model?
The client owns the copyright to the model. You will be paid to scan the property and transfer the scan to the client's Matterport account. No post-production work or hosting is required.
What happens if I wish to leave the program?
You may terminate your contract with us at any time by writing to us with 30-days notice that you would like to terminate the agreement.
Are there Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements due to COVID-19?
For your own safety and the safety of others, we have published guidance on our support site for our Capture Technicians that includes a checklist to review prior to scanning a customer site. Not all jobs will require PPE, but some are requesting shoe covers, proper gloves and/or a mask, which will be noted as part of the request. If you do not have the equipment requested, then you would not be eligible for that particular job. We have also provided guidelines for customers in advance of jobs to help provide a safe environment for our Capture Technicians. You can find the guidelines here.
Is this the Matterport MSP Program? How does it Differ?
The Matterport Service Partner (MSP) program was created in 2014 as a referral service to satisfy the requests for customers who wanted scans but didn’t want to invest in hardware or SaaS. At last count, there were 5,000 MSPs around the world in over 100 countries, creating over 50,000 Matterport models every month. However, the program has run into these issues over the years:
These issues have resulted in depressed adoption of Matterport scans, despite the interest and value, these scans provide the marketplace. Last November, we let the MSP community know that we were working with fellow providers and customers across industries to explore more efficient ways to support the growth we foresaw for scanning services. At that time, we projected that the demand for high-fidelity, professional scans would continue to rise among businesses and consumers in 2020 and beyond.
